Is she nearly here yet? While the bride at this wedding was only a few minutes late, is it traditional for brides to be 'fashionably' late for their marriage ceremonies as many think? Not as far as I can make out. The only relevant tradition I can discover says the groom should be at the ceremony first as it is considered his 'duty' to lead the bride into her new life. That's also why grooms often say their vows first.

This is the beautiful garden of Maddies of Bolwarra - a stunning setting for a relaxed, outdoor wedding ceremony. Just outside East Maitland and next to Lorn it is perfect for a reasonably small gathering of around 50 guests. As night falls the flower-filled gardens are transformed into a fairytale setting with hundreds of sparkling lights. And there are rooms where the wedding party can stay.
