It was lovely to receive this thank-you from them afterwards. "We loved the ideas you put forward and really felt that you understood what we wanted. We are really pleased with how everything went from the planning stage to the ceremony." I send them my very best wishes for a long and happy marriage.
A beautiful wedding ceremony at Roberts' Restaurant's Moptop Aisle in the Hunter Valley. The couple chose to have a sand ceremony which was fun and something a little bit different.

I particularly love baby namings because there's always an element of surprise. Either the baby cries non-stop - or in one case, smiles non-stop. Sometimes the other children steal the show (which is often lovely) and sometimes there are hiccups which just cannot be avoided. At a recent naming day one set of grandparents and two godparents couldn't make the ceremony. Then just before we were due to begin we found out the father's car had broken down on the Hume Highway. The Mum and Grandmother said they would go ahead without him but I felt that would have been a big disappointment for him. So I suggested to the Mum that she check if the guests were happy to wait a few hours for him to arrive - which they were. So I went away and returned when Dad had arrived. The ceremony went beautifully and was definitely well worth the wait... |
